| The Centre provides a "computer
suite" through which members can access e-mail and the Internet
facilities. Using the Internet costs just 1p per minute! Assistance is available to allow members to set up and use a free personal e-mail account. The Centre is also currently offering a computer training programme aimed at developing members IT knowledge, skills, and competency to a basic and intermediate standard. Trainers comprise staff, external volunteers, and user/member volunteers who are available each week on a daily, pre-arranged sessional basis for reasons of access and flexibility, and the convenience of members. It is planned that eventually our training programme will provide a platform (ie. as an access course) to enable members to move onto accredited Adult Education, CLAIT (Computer Literacy and Information Technology), and/or ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) courses. Daily tuition on Pc's & Mac.
Digital cameras & camcorders, scanners, cd burners etc. By prior
arrangement. Group tution from Adult tutors run as and when need
demands.
